Kicks Fighters Ibrahim Hedari, Lucasz Gromadinski, Tony Decaux, and Si Sutherland, and trainers Chris and Shane Kent, and Tiffany Williams attended this Full Contact/Thaiboxing and MMA International Show put on by Promoter Alex Parrish.
Novice Fighters Tony Decaux (Kicks) and Simon Sutherland (Kicks) who were both to have their Debut Full Contact Bouts had a Tag Demonstration against Professional Fighters Steve Cook and Toby Freeman (Pegasus Gym), when all their respective fighters were unable to attend.
Ibrahim Hedari, age 17, (Kicks) had his Debut Full Contact fight against Duncan McDermott, 17, (St Albans) over 3 x 2 minutes. An even first round from both fighters. In the second and third round Ibrahim Hedari wobbled his opponent on several occasions with his very strong right hand and left leg, and his shots throughout these rounds showed greater effect. A split decision saw the fight being given to D. McDermott which shocked Ibrahim, his corner team and the crowd watching the fight.
Lucasz Gromadinski (Kicks) had his Debut Full Contact Bout against Giancarlo Malagoti (Italy). This was a close and even fight which had the crowd going. The Italian came out very strongly in the first round with powerful round kicks and straight punches. Lucasz showed his defensive skills and was elusive and moving. In the second round Lucasz started to take charge of the fight and was making his opponent miss and countering with strong kicks of his own and forcing his opponent on the ropes with punches . In the third round Lucasz was urged to come forward with combinations of punches and strong head kicks. Both fighters lost a point in this round, Lucasz initially for unintentionally kicking at too close range, and his opponent for pushing Lucasz down and punching. The bell ended with Lucasz in control and winning the fight on a split decision.
