A Small group of Kicks Fighters attended this show put on by Stevie Cook at the Stoke Mandeville Paralympic Stadium in Aylesbury. It was a well run event sanctioned and refereed by the IKF. Two rings were in operation, one being a Full Size Ring for the Full Contact Show in the evening.
Kicks didn’t have a great day in terms of results but did have good fights against good opponents. All our Juniors did well and we always know we’ve got a fight on our hands if we’re up against TKO or Paul Wiffen’s Camp. Odile did well in the ring against such an experienced opponent as Claire Bye who has been competing for over ten years, and looked every inch a professional in her ringcraft and techniques.
