BATTLE OF KENT 32 – LIGHT CONTACT KICKBOXING & K1
BATTLE OF KENT 32
LIGHT CONTACT KICKBOXING & K1
CHATHAM, KENT
JULY 1st 2018
Sunday saw us at Chatham, Kent for Battle of Kent 32 Light Contact Kickboxing and K1 Show sanctioned by the IKF and hosted by Colin Payne and his TKO Elite Team. One of the hottest days in the year with a very full turn out, and two rings in constant action for the 80 plus kickboxing and k1 fights that went on.
Well done to our team of Kicks Kickboxing Fighters Ayesha Potts (14 Years ); Fiona Macneill (Adult); and Regan Maher (12 Years) who all showed great determination; ringcraft skills, and an excellent ratio of kicking to punching today. All the hard work at the gym paid off in the ring. Delighted to see techniques they’d been working on in the gym they were then able to add into their kickboxing fights. A very well timed hook kick from Regan, and axe Kick from Ayesha in the third round;, and the very effective double kick from Fiona. All these fighters showed improvement since their last bouts. All showed growing skills and confidence against well matched opponents. Well done to Regan who was happy to step in the ring a second time. Thank you to the parents and Kicks students who came to support our club fighters. It always makes such a difference.

Ayesha Potts v Poppy Pither (Falcon Thanet) – kickboxing .
Regan Maher v Charlotte Freeman (Star Gym)- kickboxing.
Regan Maher v Tracey Lin (Apollo) – kickboxing.
