IKF UNIFIED RULES EUROPEAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Kicks Instructor Shane Kent took Junior Fighter Sam Campbell to this very well run IKF Sanctioned Event by Andy Chambers of Pantheon Gym, Hastings.  Sam Campbell was in the Male 13 -14 yrs (Under 55 Kgs) Section, and was straight through to the Final against Hayden Cribben (Paul Wiffen Academy). 

Sam has been out of competitive action for twelve months and knew his opponent would be well schooled.  Hayden set a fast pace right from the initial bell with combinations, and Sam took a little time to get into his rhythm but then when Hayden tried to close the distance  a very well timed and strong knee from Sam meant Hayden was unable to make the count and Sam’s hand raised. 

Congratulations to Sam on being the IKF Unified Rules European Open Champion in the Male 13 – 14 yrs (Under 55 Kgs)
