Battle of Kent 02/06/23

Battle of Kent 43, Lordswood Leisure Centre, Chatham, Kent

A very hot and busy day at Battle of Kent 43. There were 86 fights and two rings in constant operation with each bout 3 x 1 Minutes. The event run by Colin Payne of TKO Elite had its usual great atmosphere, and the effort of the fighters was 100%.

Well done to our fighters who all did themselves proud, and who all showed how hard they’d been training since their first fights at the Battle of Kent 42.

Winning each round on their work rate, and cleaner scoring punches, kicks, and knees.

Well done to our “first runner ups” who both gave great accounts of themselves. Both Jason and Viv showed their resilience and strength against tricky opponents and both showed how much they’d come on since their previous Battle of Kent.
