Shah Amin (Brighton)

1989 Shah started training in Wado Ryu Karate and Kickboxing with Chief Instructor Chris Kent and Alan Gibson. In December 1994 under the continued instruction of Chris Kent, Shah achieved his First Dan Black Belt in Karate.

In the 1990s Shah was part of a large group of Full Contact Fighters coached by Chris Kent, and was part of a team who fought in France as well as fighting in shows across the country.

In 2000 Shah achieved his Black Belt in Kickboxing, and in 2009 his Second Degree in Kickboxing.

When Shah retired from the Full Contact Arena he started assisting in adult classes before becoming a Cover Instructor at our main Brighton Dojo, as well as covering at outside clubs. He is an experienced corner person, and is always willing and happy to help; despite his full time work and family commitments.
