We are delighted to have Jamie Brown as part of our Team of Kicks Instructors. Jamie started training at Kicks in 2007. He achieved his Black Belt in Karate in 2011, and his Black Belt in Kickboxing in 2014. He is a seasoned fighter, and has competed in Boxin; Kickboxing; K1; and Thai Boxing.
Though he took a back seat from competing in K1 (his chosen fight discipline) whilst he spent two years at Greater Brighton Metropolitan College doing his Diploma in Sporting Excellence (2017 -2019) he kept his hand and ringcraft by having several amateur boxing bouts . His return to the K1 Circuit in November 2019 has been a triumphant one. His first adult fight, and his first K1 fight in three years saw him up against International Opposition at the WKO European Open Championships. Jamie beat both Irish and French Opposition to be crowned WKO European Open Tournament Champion in the Amateur A Class Men’s 80kg Division. Jamie is now working full time as a Personal Trainer and Kicks Instructor, and is known for both his friendliness and easy going manner. He is available for PT Sessions in Boxing, Kickboxing, K1 and Thai Boxing.
